“We have been to this property several times over the years but felt for the first time that some things were not quite as good as before.”
There was no light in the oven, the fridge door tray was broken, the cutlery drawer had food bits in it, the carpets throughout had a few stains and the lounge furniture was looking grubby. In addition both sets of front door keys were difficult when turning the lock.
Whilst we fully understand the reasons for the later arrival and earlier departure times, these did make life more difficult for us.
None of these things detracted from our enjoyment of the holiday but if this property is to be advertised as ‘Luxury’ it should really match that description.

Dear Mrs Kirby,
Thank you for taking the time to submit your feedback for your recent stay at Laurellie.
The points you have raised have been passed to our property team and the housekeeper for the property.
The oven bulb has been replaced, the fridge door tray has also been replaced and the carpets have been professionally cleaned.
Please do always feel free to give us a call in the office if anything is not to your expectations as we will always do our best to resolve issues as soon as we can.
The housekeeper is going to pick up on the points you have brought to our attention during changeover this weekend and will be sharing the findings with owner.
In regard to the arrival/departure times, we hope that soon, we can go back to the normal we used to know, and the additional cleaning we are undertaking due to Covid_19 will no longer be necessary but at the moment we are still very much trying to protect all parties involved, including our guests with the slightly later check in and earlier check out, again we hope to review this shortly.
We sincerely hope that this reassures you that we have taken your feedback on board and hope to invite you back in the future.
