    “The property was overall very good with every comfort provided.”

    There are only 2 items we would address. 1. The double bed ideally needs to have its legs under the bed rather than projecting, both my wife and I would regularly hit our toes and shins on the wooden bed frame. 2. Replace all bulbs in ceiling lights with LED's, as a taller person, I could feel the heat from non LED bulbs. Otherwise the accommodation was just perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The property

This lovely Cornish hideaway takes it name from the unique Bronze Age monument near Pendeen.

The circular stone is reputed to have healing powers, Men an Tol at Logans Court cannot guarantee the same effects, but a holiday in this delightful apartment will offer superb accommodation to provide a restful and relaxing holiday in Cornwall.

Ideally situated in an elevated position in the quiet Boskerris Crescent, Men-an-Tol is beautifully furnished in a nautical theme ideal for couples and small families. Please note: Travel cot and a highchair are not provided. Living Area This beautiful penthouse apartment oozes pots of character which is teamed with beautiful coastal inspired interiors and local art having been refreshed by the owners late 2021. Upon entering Men an Tol you are greeted into a tiled porch where a handy shoe storage area and coat stand can be found.

Here you will also find 2 small foldaway chairs that can be used to sit out on top of the stairs landing area should you wish to enjoy the fantastic views Al Fresco!

You then step down into the charming living area, where to the left you will discover a snug reading area.

This is a peaceful place within the eaves where on one side there is a gaming area with large beanbags for comfort and headsets for silence and on the other side a comfortable armchair can be found, with a Velux window allowing natural light to flood in. Immediately ahead of you there are 2 directors chairs with a cost lamp and handy table between them providing a great place to enjoy that morning coffee or evening glass of wine with a view over St Ives Bay and towards Godrevy that you will never tire of. To the right of the entrance you will find the main open plan living area, where views across the bay to Godrevy Lighthouse can be taken in.

Comfortable seating is provided with a four seater deep sea blue sofa and a blue reclining armchair with matching footstool and sheepskin throw.

Local original art adorn the walls and entertainment is provided with a 43" Smart 4K LED Television with Sky Q, complimentary Wi-Fi and a contemporary TV unit with ambient mood lighting to provide that perfect atmosphere. Dining Area The dining area forms part of the open plan living space and is perfectly positioned next to the kitchen.

A beech table with inlaid black granite and four matching chairs is provided and is located so that you can enjoy the views out to sea via the main entrance.

An electric contemporary pebble fire and a Sony docking station can also be found.

Again a selection of contemporary art and locally sourced decor complement this light and airy space. Should you decided to dine out during your stay, why not hop on the coastal train to St Ives and enjoy a meal in one of the restaurants overlooking the harbour? Kitchen The kitchen of Men an Tol has been thoughtfully appointed with ample storage within the fitted Shaker style units and plentiful work surfaces.

Glass cabinets are occupied with a great selection of crockery and the glassware cabinet can be accessed from both the kitchen and dining area.

Appliances include a double oven/grill, gas hob with extractor above, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, kettle, toaster and Dolce Gusto Krups coffee machine which has a selection of complementary Coffee and Chocolate pods provided.

There is a large opening to the front of the kitchen which allows you to socialise with those sitting in the lounge and enjoy those great views over the bay whilst cooking.

Finishing it off is a breakfast bar with two seats offers a great place to sit and enjoy a morning coffee. Sleeping Bedroom One with En-suite The master bedroom of Men an Tol is a quaint room located to the rear of the property, boasting a comfortable double oak bed, bedside tables with readings lamps, tall boy chest of drawers with vanity mirror and built-in mirrored double wardrobes.

Blinds and curtains ensure you of an undisturbed nights sleep and you will also discover an additional full length mirror, hairdryer and an alarm clock radio.

Bedroom Two Bedroom two is also located to the rear of the property, ensuring guests of a quiet nights sleep.

2 brand new modern single beds with plush headboards are provided, sleeping either two adults or two children comfortably, new built-in floor to ceiling double wardrobe with lots of shelves and hanging space, bedside table, USB charging points and a lighthouse themed reading lamp, curtains and blinds can also be found.

There is also a separate storage cupboard where the ironing board and clothes airer are situated. Luxury crisp white cotton bed linen is provided in both bedrooms, along with a selection of high quality towels for each guest.

Please note that bedding is not provided for the additional trundle bed. Bathrooms Bathroom One There is an en-suite to the master bedroom which is fully tiles and boasts a luxury whirlpool bath with overhead shower, freestanding wash basin, WC, heated towel rail and an illuminated bathroom mirrored cabinet.

Bathroom Two The family bathroom is located off the hallway adjacent to the bedrooms and is fully tiled with neutral ceramics.

A shower, WC, freestanding washbasin, heated towel rail and an illuminated mirror with electric shaver point can be found. A selection of high quality towels comprising of bath sheet, bath towel and hand towel are provided per person.

Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside village of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead. Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the delightful hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay has a small range of local shops and restaurants as well as a fish & chip takeaway and railway branch line. The train journey from Carbis Bay into St Ives is perhaps one of the most beautiful in the country; St Ives additionally makes for a great day out, with plenty of galleries to explore. The quayside town of Hayle also isn't far and is home to activities for the all the family, including a golf and a wildlife sanctuary. The Godrevy Nature Reserve and Penwith Heritage Coast are also within easy reach from Carbis Bay, providing outdoors and watersports plans with even more activities to partake in, including coasteering and birdwatching. Carbis Bay is truly a wonderful holiday location for those wanting to experience Cornwall's breathtaking coastline.
