“I Sent pictures to you of dirty property that had not been property cleaned.”
I sent these details on Sunday 30/07/23. I had someone call me back on Thursday 3rd August offering to clean the property the next day, (Our last day of the weeks holiday). The hallway, (Communal area), smelt awful, (fusty, rotten cabbage, not very clean ) . I appreciate that it is a communal area, but even so. Also there was wet towels left in the washing Machine upon our arrival. The bed sheets were very worn and tired on the single beds. Disappointed that we had to pay an additional charge for a dog, when property was not properly cleaned. There was also a baby bottle lid left under the coffee table in the front room, which indicates that property was not cleaned property prior to our arrival. I look forward to hearing from you on this matter. I have used Carbis Bay/ Sykes many times over the years and this has been one of the worst. Kind Regards

We want to assure you that this is not our usual standard as a different cleaner had to cover the changeover on this occasion. Unfortunately, we have not been able to resolve the reported issues straight away as they have been reported through a previous booking of yours. We are pleased that we were still able to pick up on this during your stay, so that we could reach out and offer you to resolve all reported issues as soon as we were aware. Please note that all bedding has been purchased newly for this season. With regards to the cleanliness of the communal areas, we will address the reported with the responsible management company to rectify the issue going forward.
