    “The apartment stated that there were no pets allowed yet there was a dog bowl in the kitchen and hairs all over the apartment,also I had to empty the dishwasher on arrival as it was full,I didn’t expect to have to tidy up after the previous guests.”

    I understand that the apartment is in the basement but the internet situation needs to be seen too as it’s very inconvenient having to sit outside to get a connection particularly when it’s raining.

    Thank you for staying and your comments. I hope you enjoyed your stay. Its a shame that you have had a couple of small issues and didn't see the positive aspects of the apartment with the fresh flowers, welcoming personal card, the lovely freshly potted flowers and plants in the courtyard. The internet connection is usually excellent and there has never been a problem with wi-fi in the past. There is a premier inn not far away which is more expensive with a less beautiful location for consideration. Property Owner

Set in Carbis Bay, at St Uny apartments, this beautiful ground floor, one-bedroom, apartment, boasts a private enclosed courtyard, perfect for dining alfresco. Just a short walk from the Blue Flag awarded Carbis Bay Beach, St Ives scenic railway and with easy access to the South West Coast path. This dramatic cliffside walk heads towards Hayle in one direction and St Ives in the other. This coastal escape offers an idyllic romantic retreat or base for a young family who loves the laid-back Cornish beach lifestyle. Living Area The spacious open plan living space consists of a kitchen, dining and sitting area. Themed with neutral colours and stylish oak flooring throughout, lit by natural light from the double French doors, which lead out onto an enclosed private courtyard. The perfect space to wind down to Cornwall's slower pass of life. Set the mood lighting and relax, in either of the two leather sofas, comfortably seating four, and enjoy the entertainment on the television. The dining area, within the open plan living area, is conveniently located next to the kitchen, ideal for socialising with the designated chef. A stylish oak topped dining table with four chairs are provided for your comfort and if you wish to dine alfresco you have the option of the private courtyard. Should you decide to dine out you are spoilt for choice with the range of high-quality restaurants, serving local produce with stunning sea views nearby. Kitchen The contemporary kitchen comprises of cream units teamed with black granite worktops. Suitably appointed with an integrated Neff oven/grill, microwave, four ring ceramic hob, extractor fan, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The owners have taken care to ensure that you will have all the crockery, glassware and utensils you need for a week's holiday. Sleeping The King-sized master bedroom has French double doors leading out to a rear enclosed courtyard. Open them up and let in the healthy Cornish air, or enjoy an alfresco breakfast in the sun. Natural light floods through these making the room light and airy. There is plenty of storage space with a double wardrobe for your holiday outfits. A dressing table with mirror and bedside tables with lamps, so you can enjoy a good book, make up the rest of the comfortable space. Bathrooms The bathroom with bath and shower over is conveniently located next to the bedroom. It comprises of a washbasin, WC, and chrome heated towel rail. Tiled throughout with neutral and chocolate ceramics there is a large, mirrored cabinet with shelves, a shaver point and vanity light. Outside The private rear enclosed courtyard is accessed from either the living area or bedroom. A great space for children to play, dining alfresco or drinks in the sun, a table with four chairs are provided for your comfort.

St Uny Apartments

St Uny Apartments are a select development of seven purpose-built contemporary apartments on Boskerris Road, Carbis Bay. Certain apartments in the group enjoy the added bonus of being seaward facing and enjoy fantastic views from St Ives to Godrevy Lighthouse and beyond.

Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside village of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead. Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the delightful hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay has a small range of local shops and restaurants as well as a fish & chip takeaway and railway branch line. The train journey from Carbis Bay into St Ives is perhaps one of the most beautiful in the country; St Ives additionally makes for a great day out, with plenty of galleries to explore. The quayside town of Hayle also isn't far and is home to activities for the all the family, including a golf and a wildlife sanctuary. The Godrevy Nature Reserve and Penwith Heritage Coast are also within easy reach from Carbis Bay, providing outdoors and watersports plans with even more activities to partake in, including coasteering and birdwatching. Carbis Bay is truly a wonderful holiday location for those wanting to experience Cornwall's breathtaking coastline.

Unfortunately, the gravel path, down the side of the apartments, to the communal gardens has been highlighted as not suitable for frequent use. The owners are looking at addressing this in the long term, but in the meantime they have installed 'no pedestrian access' sign to say that guests will be unable to use the path to access the communal gardens and therefore the communal gardens will be inaccessible via the path for the duration of your stay. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.
