If you’re looking for more of a home than a holiday let for your escape to the Cornish coast, then Mincarlo is the ideal choice. Offering beautiful country and far reaching sea views from both the inside and outside living areas, this luxury holiday home comfortably sleeps eight with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Each space has been themed to reflect a luxury Cornish lifestyle, truly showing the owners love of the coast. The Mincarlo are a group of small islands off the Ises of Scilly and a nautical theme flows throughout with artwork featuring everything from St Ives fishing boats to glorious Cornish surf breaks. A pair of oars can be found hanging on the wall and even a skateboard has been placed above the stairs, highlighting a beach lifestyle. The outside space has been created to truly capture the beauty of it’s countryside setting, with two raised decked areas, for dining alfresco or enjoying a sun downer or two in the evening. Outside furniture are provided so you can truly relax and enjoy outside living with family and friends. If the kids start to bounce off the walls with excitement there’s even a trampoline with safety netting too. With private parking for up to three cars Mincarlo has everything you need for the perfect family seaside getaway. Living Area The Living Area The Living area is located on the ground floor at the front of the property offering beautiful country views. It is part of the open plan living space, comprising of the kitchen, dining and living area. Natural light floods in through the bay window and large patio glass doors lighting the whole space. A Cornish and nautical theme flows throughout with beach lifestyle artwork and even a Cornish mining Davey lamp. When the weather is good you can open the patio doors leading out to the raised outside decked area, expanding the living and dining space. Inside a large comfortable sofa and white leather chair are provided so you can relax in style. Underfloor heating gives the space a comfortable and cosy feeling all year round. Relax with a glass of wine, sit back and enjoy the country views or watch your favourite film on the 50" large screen wall mounted Samsung TV. Dining Area The dining area is located to the rear of the living area. Large patio doors allow natural light to flood in, giving the space a warm and cosy feel. A wooden dining table with seating for six is provided, perfect for getting all the family together for meals or entertaining. When the weather allows the large bi folding doors open out onto the decked outside area, expanding the space. This offers the pleasure of dining alfresco with glorious Cornish country views. Kitchen Kitchen The kitchen is located at the rear of the property, part of the open plan living space. Bathed in natural light from the sky light and the large patio glass doors, the whole area is light and welcoming. Sleek and modern in design, with white units, charcoal work surfaces and smokey blue walls. A large breakfast island is perfectly positioned in front of the French doors, so you can enjoy breakfast with a country view. This well appointed kitchen has a Hotpoint five-ring gas hob with extractor above, built in fan assisted oven with separate grill, Breville microwave, Hotpoint washing machine, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. There is also a second integrated freezer, ideal for larger families, a Breville 4 slice toaster and matching kettle. A comprehensive selection of utensils, crockery and glassware are all provided. If you enjoy a movie before you drift off to sleep a large Samsung TV is ideally mounted on the wall. The master bedroom features a beautiful private en-suite bathroom. Bedroom two Bedroom two is also front facing and located on the first floor, offering wonderful country views and a private glass fronted balcony with sea views. This comfortable en-suite room is bathed in natural light from the glass balcony doors. Artwork featuring Cornish beaches remind you how close you are to the beach. Perfect for children, it features two twin beds, a four drawers’ wardrobe with reading lamp for bedtime stories. There’s even a resident teddy bear ready to welcome little ones. Lie back and relax enjoying a movie on the wall mounted TV. A built-in wardrobe offering hanging space for children’s clothes is located on the landing between the master bedroom and bedroom two. Natural light beams into the room through the bay window making it light and airy. A statue of a pink flamingo proudly takes pride of place in front of the window. The space has a nautical and coastal theme with a striking image of a Cornish fishing boat on the wall above the bed. A luxurious super king size bed, two matching bedside tables with lamps, a dressing table with mirror and flat screen TV, make up this comfortable and relaxing room. Open the French doors and step out onto the rear sun terrace, the ideal spot for an alfresco breakfast or drinks as the sun sets. Bathrooms En-suite to Master Bedroom The master bedroom’s en-suite bathroom is modern in style with a free-standing bath with hand held shower taking centre stage, right under a sky light. Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside town of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead. Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the boutique hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay has a small range of local shops and restaurants as well as a fish & chip takeaway and railway branchline.
